Wednesday, May 28, 2008. A very productive afternoon. These don't seem to happen very often. But this afternoon was one of them. I made Caileigh a pair of green fleece pants and then remembered a Dorothy iron on applique I had in the cupboard. She is Dorothy mad, so I put that on a shirt for her too. She loved it. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Last Friday instead of the normal kindy (Pre-prep) day, we had the under 8's day. It was at a park with lots of local kindy's participating. Each had different activities for the kids to do. The girls loved it and had a great time. Here they are making "Magic Mirrors" and meeting their favourite character "Snow White". Monday, April 21, 2008. My baby girl is growing up. We bought Caileigh a bed yesterday. She is 17 mths old. Holly went into one at 13 mths, Georgia at 14 mths and I thought it was time for Caileigh. She isn't a big fan of her cot and the last couple of weeks, she screams blue murder when I put her to bed, so I usually end up laying with her till she falls asleep. We'll see what tonight brings though. Not getting my hopes up too high just yet. Woo hoo Ang, Hope Cailiegh stays in her new bed.

Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Mmmmmmm - Chocky Rocks! Anyone remember making these as kids? 1 cup butter or margarine. 1 cup castor sugar. 1 tsp vanilla essence. 2 cups SR Flour, sifted. 1 packet milk choc chips. Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add eggs, mix well. Add vanilla, sifted flour, choc chips and 2 cups cornflakes. Roll dessertspoonfuls of mixture into balls and rollin extra cornflakes. Place on greased baking tray. Bake at 180c for 10 minutes. They are delicious and the kids LOVE them.

Monday, May 12, 2008. A lovely Mothers Day weekend. It started on Saturday. Mum and Dad came down for the weekend and we took the girls to the local school fair. It was nice and they got to do everything they wanted too, which was. 1 Ride a pony. 2 Have some fairy floss. We also saw all the stalls, they got a Princess showbag each, won some jewellery on a game, saw a clown show and saw some of the classes perform. Overall a fun day. Happy Mothers Day Ang!
