http://saraeckstein.blogspot.com/2010/10/poem-resurrected-from-old-journal.html
Nothing] new under the Son. Thursday, October 14, 2010. I'm holding on,. To what is the question i don't always know. The memories of old,. The hopes of a future. How i feel is sometimes still very unsure. Give me a reason,. Please don't make me ask. To confirm or deny the feelings of the past. A fire burns within,. Sometimes the smoke i cannot hide. May it warm, not burn those who've heard, though i've tried. To swallow the flames,. May scar the heart and tear the eyes, is it a crime? To fuel the fire,.

Let her catch the God-breathed wind. To carry you ahead. The Living Word a map, His Spirit a compass,. And the rudder is at your command. Do not fret," so she says, "With strength of bow and sail,. Together, we'll safely reach Land.". Monday, May 17, 2010. Lord, take this burden from my soul,. This is a song m...

Pursuing reckless faith in an urban adventure. Stay updated via RSS. What I Do…. I have never lived in a city, but moved to Chicago to work in an inner-city after school program, where each day brings new adventures and challenges. I am halfway through my second year there. It is humbling to see how much I learn through this job, and it is amazing to see the ways that God works in and through this program. Love, love, love this song! Kindles just don’t compare to a good book! What are you waiting for?

http://saraeckstein.blogspot.com/2011/01/journey-continues.html
Nothing] new under the Son. Thursday, January 20, 2011. Meeting another for the first time is risky. Like a tailspin three sixty. Wondering, waiting, wishing,. Will it land safely? I walk away briskly. Knowing he could take the train. One way his aim. Where are my hopes? Knowing that a moment's pleasure. Can be frighteningly binding. That is inside me. I am no hobo. I have a home. Stop looking for that. Which i already own. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Life as we know it.

Nothing] new under the Son. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. A rap, given up to Kim and Matt. The pivot in the middle: be balanced, be still. One minute I'm healthy - and the next I am ill. Lookin' to God to make my body be well, so I'll tellya. There's no God like our God,. No God like our God. He heals all our diseases,. Just look to Jesus. There's no God like our God,.
