Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Sophia was not a big fan of her Birthday cake. She got her fingers dirty and then she started to cry when I put a little frosting in her mouth. Apparently it didn't taste good to her. Oh well! She really liked all of her wonderful presents though! John Barbie ran the Chicago Marathon in 90 degree weather with high humidity and the best part is he didn't die:) Seriously though over 300 people went to the Emergency Room and eventually the race was cancelled. I wasn't sure if she would like it or not.needless to say they took about a half-hour ride! Maja was having a blast! She got to steer and had so much fun riding with daddy up and down the street! Here is Joseph at the Stride Rite testing out his new kicks. Let me tell you that shoesfor 13 months old are not cheap but for his first real pair we got to splurge a little. Friday, December 1, 2006. Joseph Getting Ear Tubes 11/30/06. To anyone ever contemplating getting ear tubes for their child, this is by far the best decision we have ever made. The hardest part was watching them put the mask on him. Although Barb (my mother in law) and I swear that we got some of the anesthetic.
