Murray and Sophia Burns. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Norwegian cruise - Alesund. We woke up to the most gorgeous scenery I have seen in my entire life. The fjords gliding by were spectacular! Having fallen asleep so early the previous day, we were wide awake before 6am but it was worth it. Every minute the scenery was getting more breathtaking. Pictures can't do justice to the beauty of the fjords, but here a few impressions:. Alesund is such a clean, beautiful town, it almost seems like a fairytale land!

The drive back from Cranbrook was almost as lovely as the Fjords. we know we are fortunate we live where we do. We just had to stop to take a few pictures:. Home time to relax! Murray and Sophia Burns. Thursday, May 14, 2015. Norwegian cruise - Bergen. This time we were fully prepared for rain, because in Bergen it rains 200 days a year. As the Captain put it, it's called the Rain Capital of Europe. Much to our surprise, we woke up to a cloudless sky! This made the sailing into Bergen a spectacular event and we stayed glued to the window until the ship was docked. Waving at us from their balcony. Mom was happy to enjoy the sunshine and the view. Smaller and smaller and smaller.

Murray and Sophia Burns. Friday, May 30, 2014. Bears, oh my! Strange things started happening the past few weeks. Buckets disappearing, a rubber glove left on the porch could suddenly be found in the middle of the lawn, a bent licence plate on our car, big dirty paw marks on all our house windows, wood knocked over near the shed, our hummingbird feeders have been torn down and the seed feeder ripped from the branch it was hanging from. Murray and Sophia Burns. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Frostie and her babies. After we came back from our cruise, we noticed that our "pet raccoon" Frostie seemed more hungry than usual. Not only that, but she seemed exhausted! Of course, we ran outside and then we found out the reason why mother Frostie was so exhausted. another baby! Then, what did we see? Nope one more hidden:. Five, yes FIVE babies, no wonder Momma seems so tired! I had so much fun sitting in front of the house, with my camera ready.
