What a brilliant end to the term! Just a couple this year but both for fantastic causes. First, on Sunday 11th December we'll be performing Christmas songs and songs from our repertoire at the Bird in the Hand, Forest Hill. The set kicks off at 7 for 30 mins, and all funds raised will go to St Christopher's Hospice. Apparently we'll be getting . More. One last thing…. My final piece of conducting this year will be on live TV, but it won’t be with Vocallective. My school choir – St Joseph’s Choir from SE8 – will be performing on ITV’s This Morning. On Friday 18th December at 10.30am. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience for the kids, I’m so excited for them. And (even more exciting), I’ll get to meet Eamon Holmes and Ruth Langsford! It’s been a very lively start to the term, with several lovely new members. “Royals” by Lorde is a popular choice, but a much harder sing than everyone expected, despite the apparent simplicity of the arrangement. The bridge section has actually been causing some hilarity, it’s been such a challenge! But we’re going to nail it if it’s the last thing we do. Tomorrow's the big day.
