Where is that girl now. Sunday, April 3, 2011. There is a crater called Molokini. That is supposedly the best snorkeling in Hawaii. So I had to go. In preparation of swimming, Douglas braved the waters of the Gym to get better acquainted with the whole H20 thing. In the end, it was pretty great, very clear and lots of fish - in fact, jumping of the boat I think I landed on some! But Molokini was well worth the trip. D says he can breathe underwater. Where is that girl now. Saturday, April 2, 2011. Well the Road to Hana that is. Definitely a place where car-sick-prone people don't belong. It's an all day thing and I think the best gems on this road are far from the eye of the tourist. Needless to say, we still had a great time spelunking and getting sprayed by the ocean air! Black sand beach, made from black lava rocks - don't take any of these or the Tiki Gods will curse you like that Brady Bunch episode! The backside of a waterfall!

My work has been sending me to some special events these days, and the last one was in LA. I took Redondo Beach and Long Beach by surprise! But before I send you to the Tolosa blog (where I was a guest writer) I'll tell you that I had an amazing dinner in Santa Monica with my ladies Jill and Kristen. They had chalkboard walls!
