I HAVE MADE AN ART: Granda Frog WIP
http://captainmegawsm.blogspot.com/2009/10/granda-frog-wip.html
I HAVE MADE AN ART. Friday, October 23, 2009. WELL I tried inking with pen, but kept messing up and all that fun stuff. So here's grumpy grampa frog currently getting inked in Corel since Photoshop was giving me wobbly lines. This would be so much faster if I had a Cintiq. Once I'm done with school and get a job, it will be the first thing I reward myself with. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blogs I Like To Read. The Art of Eloisa Lopez. Art of Andrew Kim. I HAVE MADE AN ART: Art Studio Pro on iPhone
http://captainmegawsm.blogspot.com/2011/02/art-studio-pro-on-iphone.html
I HAVE MADE AN ART. Thursday, February 24, 2011. Art Studio Pro on iPhone. I just got an iPhone a few days ago. Here's what I first made with Art Studio Pro. They took about 15 minutes each. Yeaaah gonna stick with color comps and thumbs because fingerpainting just makes me angry. In fact I typed this up on my iPhone and now I'm just angrier. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I HAVE MADE AN ART: My First Caricature
http://captainmegawsm.blogspot.com/2010/02/my-first-caricature.html
I HAVE MADE AN ART. Tuesday, February 2, 2010. This was the caricature I did for my cartooning and caricature class. I used Illustrator to make the basic shapes, put in necessary outlines, and then used Photoshop to give it fuzzy edges when needed, and also used it to drop in textures I made with watercolor (scanned in at 1200 dpi since some were on 3"x5" watercolor blocks). Soon, I hope to actually create watercolor images. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blogs I Like To Read. The Art of Eloisa Lopez.

Rico Sketch: doodlzel
http://rico-sketches.blogspot.com/2012/06/late-night-doodzel.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2012. A right-wrong phrase stuck in my head. Most cases I wake up in the morning with something like this. And mutter it while brushing my teeth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rico Sketch: draw party dump
http://rico-sketches.blogspot.com/2012/05/draw-party-dump.html
Wednesday, May 16, 2012. So a larger dump than usual. Its been a long time building/playing around, so its normal to have more. Most of these are pages of my soon-to-be-broken down sketchbook. Always give yourself enough room for the spine/hole-punch area,. Not the smartest move on my part. Some of the pages seemed more boring than usual so messed a little bit with them. Any jelly-fish like doodle was probably prep for the piece I did for the Hurley show. Which I will post once I get a good scan of it.
