My Deserted Island: Everett Carl
http://mydesertedisland.blogspot.com/2012/09/everett-carl.html
Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Last week on Monday, the 10th, C.J. and I headed back up to Logan to have our new baby. Because of the move to Moab (which I have yet to write about), we decided that I should be induced so that C.J. wouldn't miss the birth. Here we are in the labor/delivery room. And here is Dr. Olsen, who I'm going to miss now that we live in Moab. He's been wonderful! Welcome to the world, Everett! Now, we are a family of four! As with Clara's birth, Everett's was a very special, amazing...

Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Happy Birthday, Clara! I love my sister-in-law's tradition of interviewing her kids on their birthdays to remember what they were like. So, I've decided to copy the idea. Here are the results of Clara's interview:. 8226;Who are your best friends? Mommy, daddy, baby. 8226;What's your favorite movie? 8226;Favorite TV show? I am a child of God. 8226;Favorite thing to do? My Deserted Island: Halloween Fun
http://mydesertedisland.blogspot.com/2012/11/halloween-fun.html
Thursday, November 01, 2012. It's been a fun halloween season for us. A couple of weeks ago for family home evening we carved some pumpkins. Clara was slightly scared of them, but still had a good time:. Last week our Elder's Quorum had a halloween party. It was a good opportunity for us to get to know some of the other younger folks in our ward (much of our ward is older). We resurrected these. Costumes from four years ago, which was fun. Clara helped me make these rice krispy treats to bring along:.

My Deserted Island: November 2011

Tuesday, November 08, 2011. My husband, the politician. CJ is running for city council, and the election is today. We met up with him to vote and took some pictures at our polling place:. Here is the ballot:. In case you didn't notice, he is running unopposed, which makes his first foray into public life much less stressful. We'll have to celebrate his win tomorrow (unless there is a successful write-in campaign that we know nothing about). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My husband, the politician.

My Deserted Island: Yesterday
http://mydesertedisland.blogspot.com/2008/10/yesterday.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. Yesterday was an excellent day! The weather was gorgeous and sunny (unusual lately, it seems). We spent the morning working on our flower garden (I say we, but really, C did most of the work). I'm excited to see the fruits (or rather, flowers) of our labors in the spring. Overall, an excellent day! You make a pretty fine gothic girl. :). I think that's probably the funniest picture I have seen all year! You guys scare me. very convincing look. You guys looked awesome! I can't wa...
