I don’t have the time! I don’t have the time! 168 hours are available to us every week. We might give 60 of those hours to sleeping, grooming and hygiene … 8.5 hours a day. Another 50 or so are invested in our work and commuting (average commuting time is 25-30 minutes). That leaves us with 58 hours each week to apply wherever we’d like. There it is – those magical 8 hours a week …. what to do with them? Is giving 2 or 3 of them away, as a gift, to an organization that you believe in really a burden?

Mentors are caring individuals who, along with parents or guardians, provide young people with support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and a constructive example.
