Newer posts →. Past-time, not a sport. July 29, 2011. It occurred to me tonight that baseball is the only “sport” where the players could reasonably be asked to play two back-to-back games and it’s not a big deal. There are no double headers in hockey, basketball, or football. That probably says something about the exertion required for baseball (and the lack of a physical toll on the body), and perhaps also explains why baseball beer leagues work so well. It’s difficult to take the sport seriously.

So of course I think, “I’ve been eating expired mayo for three months! Two nights ago I was chatting with my sister, who mentioned that a friend of. Ours might move her wedding date up to next August. I was shocked that she would do that, since that left her only five months to plan a wedding. Why do I think that it’s March 2011? Past-time, not a sport. August 26, 2011. 2 Was packing for a weekend trip today and could not find my travel hair dryer. Had recently taken it on another trip and was worried I’d left it in a train station (my hair was wet from being rained on). After searching every possible place, I found it in an overnight bag. Chalk vs. White Board. Time travel →. September 8, 2010. Okay, it’s finally happened. After a couple of years of adjusting, I came to quite like living in Edmonton. But tonight, while trying to figure out directions to the conservatory from downtown, I got frustrated with the sheer cluelessness of the city planning. It’s simple. All I wanted to figure out was how to get from the Grandin LRT station to the Muttart Conservatory. The following factors became obstacles:. 1 No car. Transit and walking only.

At the check out. May 6, 2012. Got into a quick yet opinionated discussion the other night about favourite kinds of pasta. Surprised that two friends did not like penne (because it doesn’t hold sauce sufficiently), while I like it for the structural integrity (and the sauce gets into the tube part!
