April 25, 2011. My kind of town. What a weekend. What a city. Several great meals, including a magnificent dinner at one of the best restaurants anywhere. Followed by an unexpected bonus: a tour of the kitchen (including a quick hello and thank-you to the executive chef) provided by an unbelievably gracious waiter. A lot. October 19, 2010. Either CNN or Adrien Brody's attorney sucks at math. The only "D" I got in high school was for 12th grade calculus*. For that particular aspect of college. Yes, I would train my body for those crazy late nights of college that were sure to come by just. staying awake until 1:30 or 2 am, as often as possible. That meant I was getting somewhere around four hours of sleep every weeknight. The remedy: A 48-minute power nap during calculus. The result: My beloved "D.". They might be morons.
