August | 2009 | Sorta Retired
https://sortaretired.wordpress.com/2009/08
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for August, 2009. Just Why AM I Movingto the Desert? August 27, 2009. It is nearly 1 pm on a perfect sunny day. The kind that come rarely in the Northwest, but when they do they make everyone glad to be alive. I just walked Oliver and kept looking at the big, soft green leaves on plants and trees and wondering why I would ever give this up for the desert (the picture at the top of this page is my new desert back yard.). Husband and I decided to split (amicably).

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Previous Post. Just Why AM I Movingto the Desert? In exactly five hours and twenty minutes, I’m supposed to see my surgeon. I’m hoping he’s going to tell me I’m doing so well I can drive a lot. My friends have been wonderful about getting me out of the “Guy House” (house I used to live in but now occupied by husband and his new roommate), but I’ve got cabin fever. Bad. I’m getting tired just thinking about it. Maybe I’ll try sleeping some more....You can follo...

A good friend of mine in California who used to be a senior flight attendant with a charter airline and who is familiar with my career in aviation, a career that included 20 years as a Loadmaster with an American cargo airline where I had a close-up view of cockpit dynamics, asked me the other day what is it that I thought could drive a pilot to commit suicide and take all on board with him.

Para nosotros ha sido una oportunidad de compartir y de relacionarnos con otras personas distintas, de otros paises, de conocer la historia del Camino, de ...
