然而，雖然成功需要膽識已經是共識，但落實在生活與行動中，卻出現另一種觀念與行動的矛盾。有高達39％的受訪者認為，自己的做事風格是「先思考再動手」，而且不會嘗試太大膽或沒人做過的行動」。只有28.7％的人同意，思考之後會樂於嘗試從來沒有人做過的事。另外，也有13％的人表示，做事總是思前想後才動手，所以常因為太謹慎而錯失機會。而先出手再慢慢修正的「行動派」，比例只佔了15%。 若分世代來看，5年級在「先思考，再動手」的比例上，又明顯高過6、7年級。為什麼會有這種落差？與年輕學子互動頻繁的中央大學認知神經科學研究所所長洪蘭認為，生活優裕變成年輕人的另一種包袱。 洪蘭以自己的父親「一生養一口」的哲學為例，既然只要把自己養活就很了不起，沒什麼東西輸不起，也沒什麼物質需求非要滿足，反而可以無所顧忌的衝刺。洪蘭看到很多新生代因為眼前的生活很舒服，想到往前衝的結果可能比現在更糟，就不去了。 或許正因害怕改變現狀，大家的觀念顯得保守。譬如，對一件從沒做過的工作，需要幾成勝算才願嘗試？平均來說，受訪者都需要6成以上才有信心出手。 關於膽識的內涵，《Cheers》雜誌將它區分為&#1...一般人覺得自己知識與執行力都夠&#6...
