Monday, December 29, 2008. Being in exco is hard work! Tonnes of planning, not to mention lots of admin work to do (at least for my directorship portfolio). i lost count of the number of emails i drafted carefully and sent during these few weeks alone. Not to mention sorting out mess known as CCA records. horrors of horrors. and clearing dust mites from the club room. lots of hard work behind the scenes. After-sales service support is very important to customers when buying a product, especially when it comes to electronics. had a first-hand taste of what its like to have a dying laptop in the middle of school term! Best part, acer called and asked me why i cancelled my appointment. WTF! Finally, got a "brand new" laptop, with my hard disk, monitor, touchpad, left click key changed. then, the acer engineer just left it there, so i had to ask the helpdesk people for help...

Thursday, November 26, 2009. The past few days home alone has been peaceful, quiet, yet lonely. Nobody to disturb, peaceful study sessions at home, without the need to head to school to avoid the noise. nobody fighting for TV. However, nobody to talk to. perhaps the worst is eating meals alone, be it buying, or cooking, and spending the nights alone. Life is never perfect. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Sunday, May 31, 2009. Forget typical "romantic" (expensive, and having to rush for tables on a saturday night) candlelight dinners. My unorthodox saturday night date consisted of a half-crashed laptop and several diskettes. Nothing like a cute guy offering to repair your comp for free to make a girl go wild huh. Plus the computer is actually repaired much more efficiently then a typical repairman. Plus on top of getting a repaired laptop, i get to enjoy eye candy as well. Its too good to be true eh.

Sunday, November 30, 2008. 1st day out after end of exams! Went to eat ben and jerry's with saat audit team. finally "redeemed" the voucher we won! Hehe and my 1st time eating there. icecream overpriced but well, voucher mah. Then went to explore somewhere new with yours truly, who always know of new places to explore. went to marina barrage! Was quite cool. i especially like the view at the top, overlooking esplanade, singapore river, etc. also interesting were the photographs! Monday, November 24, 2008.

Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Went to Cochin for my OCIP, on sanitation. our main role is to build toilets to benefit the mannan tribe people. as much as we helped them, i believed that we all learnt alot from this experience. 1 roughing it out. toilets are squat toilets with no flush. fill up a bucket of water and DIY flush. no more water? Too bad, no shelter to the bathing toilet. no shelter when u go out to refill the water bucket too. tough luck. cold weather? 4 construction. heavy stuff to carry!

Saturday, March 28, 2009. After 6 mths, finally its time to go to the hairdresser! Initially wanted fanciful stuff. finally decided to go for the simple haircut. easy maintenance, and with no extra chemicals to spoil the quality of my hair. plus no need to go all the way to town. Its great with shorter hair. lighter head. Maybe next time i'll cut it even shorter =p. Gearing up for finals! It was good. too good, that time passes and i dont feel like going back. Back to my books. til the end of finals.

Wednesday, April 22, 2009. My post-exam cum bdae present! I love beautifying myself. especially since i already have a good figure, straight teeth, that comes almost effortlessly. now all that's left is my complexion! I feel like a freaking tai-tai. muahaha. Time for some relaxation before school starts again really soon. Thursday, April 09, 2009. Speaking of ethics, that hawker centre making headlines with food poisoning cases isnt very ethical, with 122 rats found! So much for CLEAN and green singapore.
