Trick, Not Treat. Today, in an unexpected effort to be organized this school year for once, I labeled all my classroom drawers so the kids can find stuff. Oh, our beloved Perseid meteor shower is almost here. And this year there's no moon to contend with, which is an excellent situation. So get outside and watch this thing! Best time to watch:. The waning crescent will rise right before dawn so no moonlight will be interrupting our chance to see the dimmer meteors. 50-100 meteors per hour, depending on how dark the skies where you are are. (double word points) The meteors from the Perseids show are usually fast and bright so they're really fun to watch.

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. The latest and greatest thing we have accomplished lately is making it to the North Carolina state line in the bronco! Which if you know anything about broncos in particular 1966-77 broncos it is a bumpy ride! Above is a photograph from the Tuckaleechee Caverns it was so neat and we saw lots of bats! As tradition states: It must be that we shall spend one weekend in the month of February each year with none other than Karly, Candy, Karla, Timmy, Damone and Sanchez.
