Take this on at any set of stairs you can – my advice would be Lyon St., Coit Tower (the MOST HARD EVER), or the Broadway steps for you San Francisco dwellers. 1 Minute double-jump burpees. 1 Minute Pulse Squats. 1 Minute Walking plank (start in plank, walk your hands out right, back to center, left, center…repeat). SPRINT the stairs to the top. 8230;repeat as many times as you can!

Ok, ok…so it’s a day late – but my first day at Fitbit was yesterday! Needless to say I was busy, distracted, etc etc. BUT. This is a great workout that I’m going to test on my morning class at BodyFi this week. Great with a partner, but DEFINITELY doable alone as well! A former TRX Instructor used to make us say “We – Love – Burpees – Yay! 8221; as we did burpees (it’s a movement with 4 parts – makes sense, ya? 8230;I highly recommend the mantra to get you through these bad boys.🙂. 30 TRX Rows Low, High.

WORKOUT OF THE WEEK. Monday, October 13th. I am huge on outdoor circuits, and love putting together boot camp style workouts. Here’s one I did with the ‘Boot(y) Camp’ crew, a fantastic group of girls I run boot camp for on Wednesday evenings (these ladies can work it). Tabata, a form of HIIT (high intensive interval training), last for a total of 4 minutes and contains sets of :20 of work followed by :10 of rest for 8 rounds nonstop. Complete each set of 4 minutes, rest 1 minute in between. Feeling badass? Squat Jumps, Mountain Climbers (rotate rounds, so you do a total of 4 each for the set). Burpees – try to challenge these! WORKOUT OF THE WEEK. Monday, October 21st. Jumping Jacks – 1 minute, Frankenstein Walks (toe-touch walks) – 1 minute, Runner’s Lunge stretches, alternating sides – 1 Minute. Squat to Overhead press w/ Kettlebell (about 10-15 lbs). Plank Position, knee-to-elbow (50 total, 25 each side). Burpees (this is my FAVORITE). This is totally random, a good variety, and a great way to spend 30 minutes! I like to keep things going and mix it up (I tend to get really bored, really easily). Jumping Jacks, 1 minute.
