Has been updated with the addition of more internet resources. This is despite the passing of its author a while back. In any case, one of them appears to be quite nice. 訪問時間 96 年1 月22 日. 師 事情常常會有變化，就像許多數學系的學生一樣，會繼續走純數學領域的人 並不多，有些學生轉computer science，有些轉財金、經濟。 倒是有很多系，像這些年許多領域的發展，量化以後就需要引進數學， 如 science 要建立 model 就必須要數學。 我舉一個例子 當初在史丹佛讀書的時候，有位南非來的優秀學生，當初 還有著種族歧視，有一次在電梯裡，教授就對著那位學生說 你們這些南非來的白人都該槍斃。 當時每個禮拜三下午 Fin 都讓我們在他的 office 與他談數學，他的太太知道我們有些是留學生、有些離鄉背井來求學，每週三她就做了一些 cookie，泡一些咖啡讓我們邊吃邊談。 而要如何去修正呢 這要憑每個人的 靈明 ，例如對某位教授的研究覺得很有興趣，那就跟著那位教授走。 他說當時有一個證明 if and only if 的習題不會，去問班上第一名的同學，那位同學一看就跟他說 證明 only if 是 trivial，而要證明 if 比較難。 其實當年我念商業學校，數學怎麼會好 所以有 時候當你真的找到了興趣，人的potential 就會出來。
