He seems silent and still, yet I know He never stops speaking or moving. And so, here I am. This is my wilderness…. Maybe I don’t need you. Maybe you aren’t there. This is my wilderness. This state of my heart. I could count the sand. Of this dry, deserted land. Long before I feel you near. Long before you take my hand. Yet I won’t make the effort.
