The Greens of Grafton. Monday, February 12, 2007. The Benefits of a Clean Room. After much procrastination, we finally got Joanna's room clean. Here is the proof. Now that the room is clean Joanna can have friends come over. We have had Ainsley come over a few times. They like to play dress up. Sometimes they even outlast Rick. Monday, July 31, 2006. Hey, I actually finished something! Joanna's "Love Scarf" is done! Here it is in all its double knitted glory. The yarn is the Filatura Di Crosa "Love" that Joanna picked out on our trip to Webs. The scarf is very warm and soft. It should be perfect in the winter. I just hope she doesn't loose it at preschool. Posted by The Green House at 5:19 AM. Links to this post. Thursday, July 20, 2006. Pilgrimage to Knitter's Mecca. Last week I went to Webs. The Greens of Grafton. Friday, November 17, 2006. Now that she is four Joanna can do many things. She can clean the burner covers from the stove. She can mop the floor with the Swifter. She can amuse herself by squirting mommy's feet with the Swifter. She can even help make dinner. I think I'm starting to like four! Posted by The Green House @ 6:03 PM. Links to this post. Thursday, November 16, 2006. Put Through the Mill. Last week I got a call from Accountemps. I arrived for work at 6:30am on Saturday a...

The Greens of Grafton. Saturday, September 02, 2006. Going to the Picnic and the Ball. Today we had the church picnic. It was a little different this year. Several families hosted small groups at their home for the main meal then we all went to a "surprise location" for desert and other festivities, including 2 baptisms. The hosting families knew the final destination and others figured it out by considering what family had both a pool and the available space to host the entire church. Links to this post.

The Greens of Grafton. Monday, July 31, 2006. Avast Ye Scurvy Dogs. The Green house has been attacked by pirates! Two notorious pirates were right here in the living room. Joanna the Yellow soon spotted Captain Rick Scratchybeard and the battle was on. After a long sword battle Captain Rick was defeated and Joanna stood victorious. I've got to remember to lock the doors! Posted by The Green House @ 5:20 PM. Links to this post. Thursday, July 27, 2006. A Day at the Beach. Links to this post. Speaking of s...

The Greens of Grafton. Monday, October 02, 2006. Lots of little things. We were visited by Scurvy Dog Shiloh. Joanna has started to want her turn at the computer. I really don't think it is ergonomically correct for her. Last Friday evening Ainsley Marr. Came over for a pajama party while her parents went to their Bible study. The red smudge on her face is from a red ink stamp pad that she decided was lipstick. Rick tried to sit on the bench to fold laundry but he soon had company. Links to this post.

The Greens of Grafton: April 2006
http://graftongreens.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
The Greens of Grafton. Friday, April 28, 2006. I have almost finished catching up from Rick's parent's visit. Of course I still need to wash sheets and collapse the trundle bed but that's another matter. I saw I had a few pictures that I haven't shared yet. This first one if from trying to wake up Joanna for school. She really is not a morning person. I also have a nice picture of Joanna modeling a new dress before church. Monday, November 27, 2006. The Benefits (and Perils) of Rail Travel. I just got back from a long train trip. We took the train from Worcester, MA to Fullerton, CA and back again. Three and a half days each way. I must say that for a knitter rail travel is much better that air travel. I had a big roomy seat, plenty of free time, I could take my scissors and I was treated to views like this. The rounds have over 1000 stitches now and average about an hour to do. For $5.00 so all is not lost, just a lit...
