Very understandable because it's an amazing record but back in the nineties when the M in MTV actually stood for Music this metal / grungeband called Alice In Chains also recorded and put out one that's worth looking into. After the ruthless killing of some darlings I decided on Candy Apple Grey because it portrays a band evolving from an intense punk rock act to a more melody driven alternative rock band creating the blueprint for the sound of so many to follow.
