George" is still too young to make bread with, it seems starters need to be more than a week old to have any effect and flavour. So I went with good old Tassajara for yesterday's loaf. Tassajara Whole Wheat Oatmeal Bread. The Tassajara Bread Book. Makes one large 9x5 loaf. 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water (I added 1/4 cup more water as my dough seemed stiff). 2 tsp dry yeast. 1/2 cup dry milk powder.
