Building The New House. Thursday, June 29, 2006. Although the plans don't call for them, we seem to have two swimming pools in the basement. Well, what do you expect? We are digging below the water table. Posted by David @ 8:00 PM. Links to this post. Monday, June 26, 2006. The basement is almost completely excavated now. You can see that we have some minor water to deal with. The last step for the excavator is to build a ramp so they can move machinery into and out of the pit. Posted by David @ 4:00 PM.

Building The New House: January 2007
http://building-the-new-house.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Building The New House. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. I went to Bedrosians. This morning to pay for the bulk of our tile order. We'll be using Mediterranean Beige Medium Standard travertine in most of the tiled rooms - we purchased amost 1000 sq ft of it. In addition we ordered most of the accent tiles there. On the way back from Bedrosians, I went to check out Golden State Flooring. Their showroom wasn't very useful so tomorrow I'll try to visit The Wood Floor Company. In the afternoon, I met with Brad.
