Physeal fracture of the DIP joint with nail bed injury called Seymour fracture. Last Wednesday, I examined 9-years-old girl ,who was trod on her right third finger one week ago. Her DIP joint was swollen, and had tenddernes. I took X-ray on her both finger. She had a Salter-Harris I fracture on her DIP joint. And I watched her finger carefully, her nail bed had a inflamation. So, I diagnosed Seymour fracture. I reseted her DIP joint, and immobilized DIP and PIP joint by splint. I love FC Barcelona.
