Excursions to the beach, normally Bigbury on sea, were always accompanied by a picnic and because of the problems with sand and food, we always had pasty pies - wonderful. Following pretty successful O and A level results it was decided by my head master and my father that I would not be going to to pharmacology as I wanted to do, but to go into industry and further my education there!
