The South American Beacon Project:. The South American Beacon project is currently most widespread avalanche awareness campaign in all of South America, We work in 14 ski communities through out Chile and Argentina. Have Taught over 250 student and have given out 90 beacons to rescue personnel (all tested for range in search, send, and flux line drift). Ski/Climb as much as possible the Sawtooths this winter. Push my technical skills as an athlete/ski mountaineer/forecaster. Film more, create more edits. Ski the highest peak per state in the western US to raise money for the South American Beacon Project. Ski el Plomo at 5,450m it’s a peak I’ve been eyeing for years. You know its a powerful mountain when an Incan mummy was found on top of it. Continue to Bring avalanche awareness and education to South Americans via the South American Beacon Project.

Usually when you think of riding in June you’re thinking of dude with the tie die t-shirt he never washes and Teleski boots which are about 15 years old hiking for 3 hours to a shadowed snow patch to make 5 turns.
