We hiked across Mount Moosilauke two mornings ago and had the most glorious view yet on the trail. It took almost a half hour just to figure out what happened these past two weeks. The meal must have given us extra energy, because we decided to night hike another five miles up to McAfee Knob. Day 118 – 129 July 26 – August 6, 2014. August 6, 2014. The Whites were rough. So damn rough. I never thought I had knee problems, but now I question that. My knees had been really achy and sore before we got into New Hampshire. I couldn’t squat down to pick something up without using a handy branch or rock to lower myself. This has now escalated to using a brace on each knee and taking a daily dose of Vitamin-I (ibuprofen) to deal with the pain. The White Mountains also boast eight beautiful Appalachian...

We were ready to head back to the USA, but we had dog food and Oliver's medicine yet, so we decided to head to Freeport on Grand Bahama. We had heard about the area from fellow sailors Robin and Andy and Doug and Shirley. It was only 25 miles south of where we were in West End.
