1 Infuse your water. Depending on your palate, lime or lemon goes well with peppermint. Put a few sprigs in your water bottle or infuse water for your dinner guests. 2 Make sun tea. Add cool water to a glass container. Add fresh peppermint. Place in a sunny spot outside for several hours until the water is deeply infused with peppermint, to your liking of course. It’s chard (sometimes called swiss chard, silverbeet, bright lights). Sometimes decorated with different color stems or delicately streaked white. Whatever color or rainbow that delights your plate, there is a recipe and technique that allows for you to incorporate chard into your culinary repertoire. I like to saute chard, add it to my eggs (what veggie can’t be added to eggs? Sauteed Chard with dried fruit (oh, so good, just try it). 2 strips of bacon OR 2 tsp. bacon grease. Heirloom varieties and locally adapted varieties are what we love the most! We enjoy selecting several varieties of each vegetable as we try our best to offer food that inspires new culinary adventures. Here is a list of produce we have grown in years past:. In addition to these vegetables, we planted blackberries, raspberries, and peaches to harvest the upcoming years (it takes a few years to harvest any measurable amount). We hope to get a few chickens and add a few eggs to our CSA shares.
