Sunday, February 3, 2008. I'm watching ESPN getting ready for the game and they are talking about the invitation to the Commissioner to speak before Congress. I actually just heard Chris Mortensen say that the basis for the Judiciary committee's jurisdiction to call the NFL before them is that people who bet on the games involving the Patriots and their opponents MAY have been defrauded by the Patriots' actions. What a stretch! Apparently Congress has solved all the more important problems in this country.

Anyone who is a fan of the sport will tell you that Monk is one of the best that has ever played the WR position. Can someone please explain to me why, if cities and counties by law are not allowed to pass ordinances restricting the possession of firearms, is the Board of Regents allowed to do so through administrative policy?
