where the pho are we: khmer rouge.
http://wherethephoarewe.blogspot.com/2011/03/khmer-rouge.html
Friday, March 11, 2011. So this is where it gets a bit serious. from our two major stops in cambodia - angkor wat, the glory days to phnom penh, the dark days. We had a serious day that began with choeung ek, the killing fields, 15 kilometers from the city where an estimated 20'000 people are buried in mass graves. 8'000 of them have been recovered. the craziest thing is that as you walk, there are areas were bones are pertruding from the ground. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Upper right-hand corner: dried water snake and mango salad. Consensus: consistency of beef jerky if it were made with chicken, taste of fish. Posted by my name is meg. March 10, 2011 at 10:10 AM. Have read with interest your recent postings about Siem Reap, Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake. Did you really hold a python? Hope he had recently eaten. Monday, April 4, 2011. Where the pho are we? Again, blog hiatus. moving around a lot and getting a little lazy on the details. apologies *mostly to dad*. The vietnam path has gone like this: can tho, ben tre, siagon/ho chi mihn, mui ne, nha trang, hoi an, hue, hanoi, ha long bay. We're now featuring katie esclamado, who's made a trek from san fran for two weeks! Eating crickets, pampered cruise in halong bay and looking at the limestone karysts. Posted by my name is meg. Thrifty Travel for Adventurous Families. Hello and welcome to my blog. Top Thrifty Travel Sites. Top Thrifty Travel Sites. April 29, 2015. Comments Off on Top Thrifty Travel Sites. People always ask me where I find such good deals on flights or how I get such great hotel rates. They’re fascinated about how I find out about buses in Israel or boats in Indonesia. So I thought it might be useful to gather the websites I use altogether in one place. For flights I have 2 sites that I generally use; Skyscanner.
