Southern Gravy: December 2011
http://southerngravy.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
It's all gravy baby! Tuesday, December 27, 2011. After I started scrambling my eggs in the microwave. I will never again make them in a pan on the stove. Especially those that are trying to cut back on. Oils and fats this is perfect! No butter, no oil and not even any milk! Quick, easy and super fluffy eggs! I'm not going to waste your time by listing the ingredients its pretty basic. Eggs, Salt, Pepper and a glass bowl. tada. Just crack as many eggs as you like into a glass bowl and season to taste.

It's all gravy baby! SGs Homemade chicken noodle and veggie soup. Monday, October 24, 2011. SG's Homemade chicken noodle and veggie soup. This isn't really a "recipe" of sorts. Its one of those "little bit of this - little bit of that" kind of recipes. But, I will try to guide you along as best as I can. Whole fryer chicken (fresh or thawed). It is available on your ethnic (hispanic-asian) isle of your local grocery store. Garlic Powder (to taste). Black Pepper (to taste). Noodles of some kind. Like Paul...

It's all gravy baby! My BooBoo (My nephew) is fixin to be 4 years ol. Peacock themed living room. Giant Mutant Jalapenos / Atomic Buffalo Turds. Sunday, September 22, 2013. My BooBoo (My nephew) is fixin' to be 4 years old. He's so super incredibly smart and I just love watching him play and explore because you can just see the little wheels spinning in his head. He's going to do big things in his life and I can't wait to see what that might be. He is my absolute favorite person to photograph. Teal blank...
Southern Gravy: Steam Fry
http://southerngravy.blogspot.com/2013/12/steam-fry.html
It's all gravy baby! Thursday, December 19, 2013. Steam Fry is a traditional Native American dish. . A friend had posted on Facebook asking if any of his Southern Native friends knew the recipe. Being a Southern Plains Native - I had never heard of Steam Fry so, I went on a little mission to find it. I asked my Dad as well as several of my fellow Southern Natives and they came out of the woodwork telling me how to make it. Why have I not had or heard of this glorious dish before? Southern Gravy: January 2012
http://southerngravy.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
It's all gravy baby! Monday, January 2, 2012. I forgot to take pics of the bacon in the cooking dish but, I'm sure you can get the general idea. I like to cut my bacon in 1/2 just to make it easier to handle. I cook mine in a large casserole dish. I've heard of other people using cookie sheets and I did try that once and it was a huge fail. The bacon stuck badly. With the glass dish it doesn't stick at all! Posted by Brandy Lea. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cooking with My Kid.

The Snarky Eyebrow: On Bodily Functions
http://thesnarkyeyebrow.blogspot.com/2012/10/on-bodily-functions.html
A slightly skewed look at things. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. I'm not certain if anyone can truly tell the origins of Americans using "number one" and "number two" to refer to specific activities in the bathroom. That's a testament to how long their use has been in our culture, as well as a huge neon sign pointing to the fact that we like to hide our various natural bodily functions behind cutesy colloquialisms. Number Three: sneezing or coughing while going Number Two. Number Four: ran out of toilet paper.

A slightly skewed look at things. Wednesday, September 5, 2012. On Error Messages (A Rant). I’m going to deviate from my typical formula and go on a bit of a sidebar here. In an earlier post (. See fancy link here. I discussed how I am considered to be a bit of a geek, and how a number of friends seek (and/or ignore) my counsel when it comes to fixing things. I am also contacted - usually via IM or incomplete text message - whenever programs or devices do not function as expected. User: I don’t know.

A slightly skewed look at things. Thursday, October 18, 2012. Personal ads are supposed to offer a summarized glimpse into someone else. The goal is to promote oneself so that the other single (hopefully) person reading the ad can generate a spark of interest and pursue a line of communication. Blah, blah, blah. The problem with personal ads is that they’re written. Trying to say with their ads. A few extra pounds:. A few dozen extra pounds. Owns a gym membership but doesn’t go. Above 5’6”. I’m not...
The Snarky Eyebrow: On Overly Ambitious Goals
http://thesnarkyeyebrow.blogspot.com/2012/08/on-overly-ambitious-goals.html
A slightly skewed look at things. Thursday, August 16, 2012. On Overly Ambitious Goals. Back when I first started this blog, I started it with the idea that I would be composing at least two posts a week. Granted, I kept that pace up, for the most part, for quite a while. However, there came to be a point where I simply couldn’t keep up with the demand. Oh, alright, that’s complete bologna. The truth is, there just wasn’t anything. 8220;This will be the year I’m losing weight! 8221; said I, December 31st...

The Snarky Eyebrow: On Chicken Plumage
http://thesnarkyeyebrow.blogspot.com/2012/09/on-chicken-plumage.html
A slightly skewed look at things. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. I can’t help but notice that more and more food products these days are proudly packaged with a label saying “Made with White Chicken.”. Personally, I find this to be a bit of a conundrum. On the first hand, I can honestly say that I’m not a chicken racist. I can also honestly say that I have never in all the chickens I’ve consumed noticed a significant difference between any chicken based solely on the color of its plumage. Proving a chicken ...
The Snarky Eyebrow: On Dreams
http://thesnarkyeyebrow.blogspot.com/2013/07/on-dreams.html
A slightly skewed look at things. Monday, July 1, 2013. I had a random dream the other night, where I was subjected to the onslaught of the offspring of Krang from the Ninja Turtles and a Beholder from D&D. It was terrible. Bruce Willis couldn't even stop their advances to destroy our planet. I also had a dream, where I was microwaving a pizza box. There was no pizza inside this box, just the box. In the microwave. Empty. Oh, wait. They already do that. You know, be clueless, and all. The Junk Food Junkie.
The Snarky Eyebrow: On Being a Geek and Fixing Things
http://thesnarkyeyebrow.blogspot.com/2012/05/on-being-geek-and-fixing-things.html
A slightly skewed look at things. Friday, May 18, 2012. On Being a Geek and Fixing Things. Let me begin, first off, by saying I love technology in all shapes and forms. If it has buttons, or a touchscreen, odds are likely I want it. Take, for example, my desk at work. Two monitors, check. External touchscreen PDA synced to act as a tertiary monitor, check. Touchscreen digital photo frame hacked to act as quaternary monitor, also check. I am, to mince words, a geek. Because they’re broken. Informing you o...
The Snarky Eyebrow: On Children's Television

A slightly skewed look at things. Monday, June 18, 2012. Any readers who don’t have access to small children, either their own or someone else’s, probably won’t get half the references contained within. I won’t be offended if those of you that are free from small human interaction skip this column (for the time being). I expect you to return when the stork does. Offspring to get stuck in a tree? Is perfectly acceptable and comes with no consequences. Also, if your child is on the older end of the vie...
The Snarky Eyebrow: On Wawa's Turkey Bowl
http://thesnarkyeyebrow.blogspot.com/2012/10/on-wawas-turkey-bowl.html
A slightly skewed look at things. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. On Wawa's Turkey Bowl. Every year, in the fall, the gas-station-turned-supermarket known as Wawa starts selling their famous turkey bowls. For those of you who aren’t familiar, it’s a bowl (obviously) filled with mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey, and then drowned in gravy. 8221; musings. Or perhaps that’s just my family. It does, however, come with all the guilty carbohydrate-and-tryptophan-laden deliciousness of the. In other words, it’...
