Saturday, April 6, 2013. The Light Blue Dolphins. George had his first ever soccer practice this morning. He joined the Skyline Soccer program, which meets all over the city but our location is right at 1-25 and University. He is on a team called the "Light Blue Dolphins" and he had the time of his life today! I hope you like soccer pictures, because here come a bunch! My favorite part of today is that George's smile was permanently smeared across his face the whole time. He was having so much fun! Our b...

Sunday, November 30, 2014. Starting the Christmas Season. It's always so hard to believe when Christmas time comes around, but here it is! I told Sean that I hope one day all the kids who are a part of this will look at pictures over the years and say, "Those were such fun days! Look at our parents - they were so young! Our tree is extra skinny this year on purpose. We put it in our front room this year instead of downstairs and we don't have a lot of room to work with! A South Carolina Thanksgiving.

The O'Reilly Family: September 2013

Sunday, September 22, 2013. Our George is five years old! He's been excited for his birthday for months now, and he's so glad he can say he's five instead of four and three-quarters! He woke up before dawn on Friday morning, eager to open presents. We only had the gifts from us to open that morning, and he opened the rest from family after dinner and cake that evening. He was thrilled with everything he got! I love this one because you can tell he's smiling even though his mouth is covered up :). The kid...

http://babyoreilly.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 3, 2014. As always, we spent Christmas Eve at Kelly and Joe's for Wagilia. I love this tradition and I love that I'm a part of a family has this wonderful event to look forward to each year. The cousins had a blast with each other and everyone enjoyed Kelly's delicious meal. Jammie pic time. George is just too cool ;) Kelly has some sort of magic power that she can get 7 kids to look and smile at her. I can't even get my two! The air hockey table has been great. even Gus can play! We spen...

Thursday, March 27, 2014. Better late than never, right? It's now Thursday of Spring Break and I'm finally getting around to posting pictures from Gus' birthday in January/February. Yikes! Gus was super excited for his big day and pretty much wanted everything Rescue Bots, which is exactly what he got. As usual, big brother watched with only centimeters separating him from Gus' new toys :). This is Gus saying, "Cool! This was taken before our Broncos were (really badly) beaten in the Superbowl. He often ...

The O'Reilly Family: December 2014

Monday, December 29, 2014. Nana and Pa's Christmas Visit. We all love having Terry and Marlene visit us, especially at Christmas! They stayed with us for a few days after Christmas and the boys (and Sean and I) loved having them here. We tried to keep them busy with small construction projects. Unless you're Gus and you'd prefer your mom to do it for some reason. We bought this little red sled for Gus when he was a baby. Ryan and Pa discovered it was really, really fast for kids and adults! Christmas Day...

The O'Reilly Family: May 2013

Thursday, May 9, 2013. George has loved Superman for a while now, but it has been taken to a new level lately. Both boys would rather pretend to be Superman than almost anything else. Up until Saturday when we finally got him a new Superman costume, George continued to squeeze his body into the same infertility-inducing costume as much as possible. It needs to be burned). The O'Reilly Family: August 2013
http://babyoreilly.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 31, 2013. Gus is so funny and wild and has been such a character lately, that I really wanted to write down a few of the highlights of his personality at 2 and a half years old so we never forget. Up until 2 weeks ago, Gus pronounced his favorite superhero as "Fuca-man! When you say, "I love you, Gus," he replies with, "I miss you too.". He likes to reminisce about a favorite activity by saying, "It fun in the mountains," "It fun in a el-vator.". Tuesday, August 20, 2013. We ended our su...

The O'Reilly Family: October 2014
http://babyoreilly.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 25, 2014. Since the last time I wrote on this blog, summer has come and gone, George started kindergarten, I started a new job, George had his sixth birthday, and now it is almost Halloween! I'll try my best to write something about these big events for the few people who still check this blog, but especially for me because I love reading old blog entries and being reminded of small things I had forgotten. Gus was devastated when poor Vader was decapitated. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sunday, March 31, 2013. We have had a beautiful, perfect-weather, action-packed Easter weekend. The boys have eaten their body weight in candy, their faces show the sunshine they played in all weekend, and they're about to completely collapse from exhaustion. a great combination! Here's just a fun pic I made to show my Easter "mantle" area, the eggs we dyed, and the boys' baskets:. The boys were pretty excited this morning with their loot from the Easter Bunny. The Rescue Bot was the big hit. We spent th...
