Atlanta Review: The Tabernacle & Westin Peachtree Plaza. December 19, 2015. Sharla and I recently took a small Thanksgiving weekend trip to Atlanta, mainly because a long weekend for us both is such a rare thing these days. We knew far ahead of time that we’d get cabin fever spending the whole long weekend at our house, so sought out something good to do about a month ahead of time. Red Mountain Park in Birmingham, Alabama. April 2, 2016. This weekend, Daniel and I explored. A 1,500 acre greenway and recreational area located in Birmingham, Alabama. Red Mountain isn’t a State Park, but rather it is owned and operated by the Red Mountain Greenway and Recreational Area Commission. The park is governed by the Commission board members, and is supported by a vibrant volunteer staff. One thing that sets Red Mountain apart for other trails is the vast Adventure. Our Three Bonnaroo Hacks!

We recently chatted with Todd Seaton, President of Old Black Bear Brewing Company. Young hunters take shots at them without really knowing what they are, Seaton explained. We...

Restaurant Review: Our Favorite London Pubs. September 21, 2016. When Sharla and I landed in London back in 2013, we took a nap in our flat to get rid of the jet lag, and then headed to what had been recommended as one of the best pubs in London. The Fitzroy Tavern. Was about a 20 minute walk from our place near the Soho area of London. It was constantly reviewed as one of the top pubs within walking distance of our place near King’s Crossing. I’m still kicking myself for not taking that layover. Litte B...
