Tuesday, January 1, 2013. We decided not to sleep in. We decided to TRAIN. For the 4th of July! The Cortez Burst Triathlon! Jeremy and I and my friend Kiffany. Made up a team. Cool name, right? And Paige and Skyler both. Opted to do it solo. Here is Paige in her training. And here we are race day! We were all way. Jeremy did the swim (500M),. Kiffany the bike (16 miles),. And I ran (3 miles). We decided we better train better next year. ;). And our lovely, LOUD. Cheering section. :). This summer as well.

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. That I hardly took any pictures! I worked a lot. Decorating ice cream cakes. Down at Cold Stone. We had a million. Showings on the house. The boys had TWO. With the laundry to match! We cleaned up an old lady's yard for her. Trey had his TWELFTH. I have no idea why I have no pictures! He had a football party at the park. I can't believe he's 12! And I can't believe I don't have any pictures! Skyler was super excited to have him come into. Especially for the campouts!

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. We decided to go visit Aunt Nikki, Uncle Mike, Aunt Sasha and Breck. In the middle of a blizzard! But we, somehow, made it there safely. And there was a tiny. Bit of snow at their house! Mike, Jeremy, Skyler, Trey and Paige went snowboarding. And this is where Paige ended up at the end of the day! After twisting her ankle,. And taking a ride on a sled,. Pulled by a snowmobile,. Driven by a paramedic. The kids had a BLAST sledding on the hill just behind Mike and Nikki's home.

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. My favorite thing in the entire WORLD. And we had the privilege of having THREE children participate this year. Actually pretty fun. :). Experimented on the spouting power of Mentos. Did it spout higher with diet or regular cola? And she almost got soaked in the process! Tested dog food brands. Which brand do dogs prefer? The cheapest one, of course! Tested bacteria levels inside animals mouths. Dog, cat, and turtle. Turtle had the most, by far! Here he is at the fair in Durango.

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. The week after Christmas, Jeremy and I bailed. We needed a break from everything! So, we headed off to Vegas. The plan was to fly using Jeremy's airport benefits. Unless you get bumped off at 5:00 in the morning. The joys of stand-by.). So, we decided to drive! Oh you mean the giant black mass of clouds that reach. All the way to the ground in front of us? We, happily, made it. Just skirting that storm. And had a wonderful time! We got upgraded to a suite. The STATUE OF LIBERTY!

Monday, January 30, 2012. For Josh's fourth birthday party,. He chose to have a movie night. And he wanted to feature. Which was really funny, since he's obsessed. With Cars 2.). One crazy "minion" cake coming up! And a boatload of family to share the fun! There are getting to be quite a few of us! We had popcorn and cake and ice cream. And lots of fun! Friday, January 4, 2013. August was full of outdoor adventure! Skyler and Trey had a 50 mile. To Dolores, CO. The boys rode along the highway. I drove as a parent escort. Can I just tell you, that those 4 hours were. Some of the most stressful. Of my entire life? I can't believe they all made it down the mountain alive! And then they cooled off in the Dolores river. The end of August brings SCHOOL. She got to move to the "big kid" wing of Kemper. :). And got her own locker! His last year in middle school!

Wednesday, January 9, 2013. That I didn't take many pictures! But we canned peaches! Josh was quite proud of his part in canning. Stirring the sugar and water together. So, he took a picture of his jars. :). Josh was also busy playing soccer! It took him awhile to warm up. But once he did,. He was super excited! Uncle Jeff was his coach. With Dad assisting. :). And Olivia was on his team! And Paige played soccer. She hasn't played since she was 5. Skyler had lots of cross country. Back to School Knight".
