The greatest WordPress.com site in all the land! September 9, 2015. Every evening I like to look at that ‘On this Day’ feature on The Book. I like how it reminds me where I was one year ago, two and a half years ago (when I was just getting sober this time), and then past that, when I was thinking I wanted to get sober. So now, I’m just going to go to bed, knowing that I am still sober, that I didn’t go much besides that today, and try to continue to hope that life will get better. September 3, 2015.

When hanging out today, I had a friend (who is also in recovery) mention out loud to me that ‘she had the thoughts today that she wants just ONE pina colada or ONE margarita’, but she knows that she can’t. Overhearing her say this, another person said ‘well, why can’t you? And if we don’t know our problem, how well do we really know our solution? Going with the flow. One thought on “ twenty five.
