Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Well I am 35 weeks and my body has clearly changed. Sometimes you just have to laugh about the changes or at the things people say about your changes. I was teaching a lesson about fractions and talking about parts/whole. I used the pizza analogy and asked the kids how many pieces they eat ex: 2/4 etc. Well the kids started saying they eat 7/8 pieces and 8/8 pieces. You know how kids can get when they are trying to outdo each other! Me: Wow, some of you have big stomachs.

Thursday, June 19, 2014. Summer Time with Caroline. I have always had a summer; I had a summer as a student and now as a teacher. I love my summers! In the past they have been spent at the pool working on my tan, gym classes, or reading books. Well it's summer and I am pale, don't have a gym membership anymore, and have not opened the 2 books I checked out at the library. Why the changes you may ask. a baby! Things we like to do:. Taking Callie to the dog park. Playing on play mat. Grandpa makes me laugh!

Tuesday, April 29, 2014. I am a mom! I am now officially a mom to a healthy, beautiful baby girl! Caroline is a month old now and I can say I had no idea babies grew so much in one month! Here she is in the hospital:. She was born 6'11" and 20 inches long. She was so tiny! Here is our first family photo! This is the first time I was able to hold Caroline. I love to take pictures of Caroline and probably take way too many! Well she has gotten up and is crying for me so I must end this post. I am a mom!

Monday, March 3, 2014. It is hard to believe but I am now almost 38 weeks! My stomach has suddenly ballooned and my bellybutton is about to pop- timer is almost done! I have taken a picture once a week of my growing belly since we found out we were pregnant. Thursday, October 31, 2013. Yesterday we found out that we are having a baby girl, a daughter! The last thing the tech told us was boy or girl because little bit wouldn't open her legs. Finally she was able to get a confirmation that we are having a girl. I cried, happy tears. David and I were both amazed at how real it is now. I mean we are actually having a real person, a daughter, we can now picture our family. It was a special event and I am sure my quick retelling of it didn't give the night justice.
