People just love to play with words. One of my favorite bands from the Eighties was Men at Work. Though hard to pick a favorite song of theirs, this particular one. I'm not tryin' to impress you with my lines. They don't mean nothin' at all. It's just another expression of mine. It don't mean nothin' at all. Epiphany: e·piph·a·ny [ih-pif-uh-nee] noun - a moment in which you suddenly see or understand something in a new or very clear way. But that is my. Now I think more and more about my word S. A lot has happened since last I blogged about the happenings here in La Palma. I also discovered why Jose asked me to speak instead of doing it himself. He said, "You are a foreigner. They will want to hear you talk and so you will keep their attention.". And when I rely on Jose to translate everything, he states the answers to my questions instead of asking the students the question. I'm picking up much more, but I still get flustered when I try to speak it myself. Links to this post. I ask because I wa...

Rules for Holy Living. Rules for Holy Living. When you play a game or work at a job, you have to obey the rules. If you do not obey the rules, you can be disqualified or lose the game and be fired from your job! You don’t want that to happen. So, you follow the rules. When you follow the rules in a game, you have the chance of winning. When you follow the rules at work, you earn your wages and you have the chance of getting a raise or a promotion! Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Not much to report, but since I didn't blog yesterday, I thought I should post a short update. Links to this post. One Week Ago Today. Links to this post. Quick Update and Prayer Request. Messages from Monte: Where were you when...?
http://lallifamilymission.blogspot.com/2011/05/where-were-you-when.html
Where were you when? In our lifetimes we remember certain events to such a degree that we remember where we were and what we were doing when we heard or experienced that event. Some of these events are wonderful milestones we are glad to commemorate - graduations, wedding day, a birth of a child, etc. More often than not, when we ask the question, "Where were you when? We follow it with an event of such terrible significance it is a world changing and life changing event. Where was I when the space shutt...
