Jueves, 14 de marzo de 2002. A veces, la edad de un árbol me sorprende. Pensaba en ese árbol viejo, doblándose hasta el suelo, hace mucho decaido, perdido, olvidado. Sin embargo, cuando la primavera retorna, en algunas de sus ramas crecen unas pocas flores. Apoyándose en sus ramas. Viajando a través de las islas de Japón, vemosarboledas de frutas y campos de vegetales cultivados a la cuesta de montañas. Agricultura en terraza es común en este país, donde terrenos para cultiva son escasos.
