Space is a parent led support group for families that have children with additional needs. The aim of SPACE is to provide a safe and accessible play opportunities for children with additional needs and also support their families through peer support and providing information. We started in January 2015 running a regular stay and play drop in session at the Live! Youth club in Chester. In our first year we have had more than 80 children attend the sessions and supported over 60 families.

SPACE Charity Ball on 22nd October 2016 at Chester Golf Club. The evening will include welcome drink on arrival, a delicious three course meal with wine, top class entertainment throughout and more. We believe that children regardless of their abilities enrich our communities and should be able to access play facilities. The lack of these facilities causes isolation not just of the disabled child but the whole family. Our aim is to raise funds to set up a multisensory play centre in Chester. This will provide a bespoke sensory play environment where children with additional needs and their families can enjoy a stimulating and interactive experience. Registered Charity Number 1163411.
