The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale: Coming back
http://thesuperbongo.blogspot.com/2015/05/coming-back.html
The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale. Quietly taking over the planet. Friday, May 22, 2015. I had to be out of town this week on business. I have long since outgrown being excited over business trips. And, it didn't help that ESK left me, and back in the day, trips with her were always a blast. We'd make time to do something fun and bonding. We'd eat adventurous food. It is tremendously difficult to find good traveling companions. The Pirate Jean Lafitte. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My idea of hell.

The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale: Never say never
http://thesuperbongo.blogspot.com/2015/05/never-say-never.html
The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale. Quietly taking over the planet. Monday, May 25, 2015. My cooking style evolved based on what I am curious about, and what I can get locally. I have always liked foods that are particular to one culture or another. I make a lot of Asian inspired foods as well as cajun/creole dishes. We don't eat a lot of meat in our house hold, and the Old Woman generally reserved meat for company. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Proof of my Dominance. View my complete profile. Pictur...

The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale: Southern "ratatouille"
http://thesuperbongo.blogspot.com/2015/07/southern-ratatouille.html
The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale. Quietly taking over the planet. Sunday, July 19, 2015. Give it a fancy sounding name and no one will notice that you pretty much didn't actually cook. This is what we, more or less, live on during the summer when I can get wonderfully fresh, local veggies for a song. This week was particularly good. Keep in mind I don't really measure and I use what I have at hand, so feel free to throw in what you like. Double handful of okra, sliced 1/2 inchish rounds. My idea of hell.

sassyk - what the?!: January 2008
http://sassyk1.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Jan 28, 2008. The return of GUNTER. It's been far too long! For those who missed the initial discovery of. Allow me to momentarily recap - when moving in with Beau we spent a great deal of time shopping for everything from furniture to cupboard handles. For the most part Beau has modern, masculine taste (clean lines with a preference for the monochromatic) however, on this particular day, while shopping for towels and bedding, Beau declared in his Arnold Schwarzenegger-like English:. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

When Christmas is the Last Thing on Your Mind. Saturday, December 23, 2006. One year ago, The Lovely Wife went into labour. At least we thought. It was labour at the time. Younger son didn't come along until Christmas Eve, so as you can imagine, there's a bit of a story that takes us from the morning of the 23rd till the evening of the 24th. Dec 23rd: 0900 -. This occurs; use your imagination) and said to come back in three hours for another reading and application. Dec 23rd: 1200 -. Dec 23rd: 2030 -.

Speak Into the Mike: And the House is Still Standing!
http://www.themikestand.com/2011/03/and-house-is-still-standing.html
And the House is Still Standing! Tuesday, March 15, 2011. The sun is out! The wind is blowing at a paltry 40km/h! Birds are singing frigidly in the bare March trees! Time-warp to now. some three months later. I knew that stay-at-homes did a lot of work, and that it would be challenging to have the Baby Girl every day of the week, and Five (middle child, younger son. damn, these nicknames are so confusing) for most of the week, while Seven ( SEVEN. HOW DID HE GET TO BE SEVEN? Other things I learned:.

The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale: On the fence
http://thesuperbongo.blogspot.com/2015/06/on-fence.html
The Super Bongo: A Monkey's Tale. Quietly taking over the planet. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Full disclosure, I was hesitant to buy a food processor because I couldn't think of how often I would actually use it and I feared that my salsa might lose some of that "made with love" flavor that comes from hand chopping. Totally unfounded and I love my processor. So, I bought one of these: Slicer. I generally take an imprecise approach to cooking, so why stress over squash slices? Proof of my Dominance. My idea o...
