Monday, March 17, 2008. This afternoon when we got back, I gave Elvira a much-needed bath. After our lunch and candy shopping spree, we went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few items we needed for the week. We also picked up some dog treats (for the encouragement of potty-training), a collar and leash, a puppy tote, and some dog shampoo. Jeff, Elvira and I are on the first day of a much-needed vacation. I was trying to think of a word to describe exactly what this is that we needed: respite. It Is What It Is.
