Cabo de Gata at its best! September 12, 2006 at 1:09 pm Posted in Roquetas de Mar. On Sunday we all went to a secluded beach in Cabo de Gata, near San Jose in the province of Almeria. The beach is a half hour walk, over some volcanic peaks, from Los Genoveses a well-known beach. The sea was crystal clear and most of the tourists have gone. Only a few nudists around. Camping at Embalse Negratín. October 3, 2006 at 9:16 pm Posted in Blogroll. Went camping at Embalse Negratín, just over the provincial border in Granada province. Very beautiful, very, very quiet place. Our campsite was a bit poor, no water and burrs everywhere, but the owners were very friendly and gave us the two nights at half price.
