Red Rock Rabbits: Is it really August already?
http://redrockrabbits.blogspot.com/2008/08/is-it-reall-august-already.html
Breeding and Raising French Angora Rabbits in New Mexico. Knitting, weaving, spinning dyeing in progress. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Is it really August already? It was fun to see the Pow-Wow and my youngest, Anna, wants to dance so her dad is making her moccasins and other things needed. Most Quapaws are tall so she fit right in. David spent a week near Tulsa at a Bible Camp and made some good friends. He has started school again. Cross my fingers will graduate from high school this year. I live in New...

Breeding and Raising French Angora Rabbits in New Mexico. Knitting, weaving, spinning dyeing in progress. Wednesday, September 3, 2008. And Now it is September. September started out with car troubles. DH is outside replacing the fuel pump of our only vehicle. Friends have been so helpful with rides and even lending a truck for a few days. Thanks to all of them. I lost a roll of film and have not processed the others, however, when I do, I will post many pictures. Enjoy the last of summer. I live in New ...

KN Rabbitry Blog: June 2010
http://knrabbitry.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Quality Flemish Giants and Jersey Woolies in Silver Spring, MD. Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Thank goodness my first year of college is over! It was not easy to keep up with the rabbits during this past semester, I meant to breed rabbits, I meant to do this, I meant to do that, did it happen? Ah well, that’s the way things go. Really REALLY liked Dallas and said that he really wanted to have him go on, but he lacked in coat today. Turns out WWR Alladin took BOS for a leg! WWR Alladin x Keep’s Dreamer -...

KN Rabbitry Blog: 2010 Goals
http://knrabbitry.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010-goals.html
Quality Flemish Giants and Jersey Woolies in Silver Spring, MD. Sunday, January 3, 2010. It's been a long time, but I figure new year, new start! I cannot believe a new decade is upon us, and I have a feeling that this will be a great year. 2009 has gone down in my books as the worst year ever for myself and my family, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Because of how the NJWRC does their year, I would have have about 5 months of showing before the year ends. So while I will be joining in...

KN Rabbitry Blog: February 2010
http://knrabbitry.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Quality Flemish Giants and Jersey Woolies in Silver Spring, MD. Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Showing rabbits is fun, but what is even more fun is having a rabbit of your own breeding win! I get disappointed in breeders when they only care about constantly winning, and get very upset when their rabbits do not win. Everybody has bad days showing, some more than others, but it happens to everyone at some point. My mantra with every hobby I have is "if it isn't fun anymore, don't do it". I am in th...Being abl...

KN Rabbitry Blog: How many breeds have you had?
http://knrabbitry.blogspot.com/2010/01/how-many-breeds-have-you-had.html
Quality Flemish Giants and Jersey Woolies in Silver Spring, MD. Sunday, January 10, 2010. How many breeds have you had? I've been raising rabbits since 2006, and have re-started my herd about 4 times. Yes, that's right, 4 times! Why you may ask, because I improved in my understanding of what the Standard of Perfection was calling for! I think I may have found my heart breed here. Dude, why not just stick with a breed and work on it? Don't just think the big time breeders are blowing hot air, it's true!

KN Rabbitry Blog: Losses & Revivals
http://knrabbitry.blogspot.com/2010/07/losses-revivals.html
Quality Flemish Giants and Jersey Woolies in Silver Spring, MD. Thursday, July 29, 2010. I now remember why I dislike owning rabbits during the summer, heat. Not only are we here in Maryland having record highs with a heat advisory in place on an almost daily basis, the rabbits are suffering worse than us. A/C is not an option in my mind, as a fellow breeder's A/C unit stopped working mid-day on a 90* day and they lost every rabbit due to the change in temperature shock. Until next time,.
