Monday, December 29, 2008. 1 Year Since Aidan's Accident! It has been 1 year since Aidan's accident and the worst day (and the next three) of our lives! It was so scary, but through it all God gave us such a sense of peace. I never really understood "peace that passes all understanding". Our family and friends were (and always are) so amazing. Sunday, January 8, 2012. My Sweet Aidan Jeffrey. I can't believe my little is 4! He is a precious gift! I have said it is in his heart! He is a cowboy through and through! I was horrified when my parents moved us from Denver to the Grand Valley! My Grandma said a few months ago that Aidan was the only one who could make me a cowgirl and she is right! Thursday, April 16, 2009. WE ARE HAVING TWINS! What a wonderful blessing! Wednesday, April 15, 2009. We had a fantastic Easter! It was also Grandma Mary's 88th birthday. It was a great day to celebrate! This was the first year that Aidan dyed eggs, he didn't really care. It was also the first year he got an Easter Basket. He was very excited. He came out of his room and just stopped in his tracks, dropped his book and stared at his goodies! It was so cute! Most of our Easter basket pictures were fuzzy!

Sunday, September 28, 2008. Summa Summa Summa Time. Summer is officially over, and it's starting to feel like fall around Bend. Yeaaaahhh! It was a fantastic summer full of new places, good people, and good times. Here are a few of them. We kicked off the summer on a cold weekend with some friends from Eugene on the North Umpqua River. Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Nanaimo - Vancouver Island. I snuck out for another long weekend to 'The Island' with a buddy who's got a place in Nanaimo. Here's the view from Ian's porch. Ian grew up around Nanaimo, so he had a bead on the local crabbin spots. We biked around Nanaimo for a day, then got up to Cumberland for some damp north shore-esque singletrack.
