Learn Spanish online using Skype with Celia Pocon. Celia graduated from San Carlos University with a diploma in Spanish as a Second Language. Celia has also received certification from the Instituto Cervantes to prepare students for testing in all levels of diplomas offered by Instituto Cervantes. Celia has been teaching Spanish in Antigua, Guatemala for over 15 years and has been teaching lessons on Skype for over five years.

1) If you do not already have Skype, register for a free account at www.skype.com. 2) Contact Celia to schedule a complimentary 20 minute session on Skype to get acquainted, assess the level of your Spanish and ensure you are comfortable working with her. Time will be based upon Guatemalan time (-6 GMT), which is typically the same as Central Time in the U.S. (except during daylight savings time when Guatemalen time is one hour earlier than Central). 4) Send payment in advance of your first lesson.

There are several pricing. 12 for each 50 minute lesson. 55 for five 50 minute lessons. 100 for a package of ten 50 minute lessons. Go to www.xoom.com. Register for an account. Celia will provide her banking information in Guatemala. Payment can be made via bank transfer (recommended) or credit card. Bank transfers cost a flat fee of $4.99. Payment via credit card costs slightly more. Transfer fees are the responsibility of the student.
