Thursday, June 11, 2009. A trip to the eye doctor! We had eye appointments yesterday! Needless to say, it was quite an adventure. While waiting, we could not help but try on glasses. In the end, both boys got some super cool paper sunglasses. Hope everyone is having a great summer! That is absolutely hilarious! Love the pics and they look so silly. Sunday, October 26, 2008. FNL: Report from the Background. It's been pretty quiet in here lately. (Thanks, I do have a gift for understatement.) So, here's an update. I've had a few opportunities in the last year or so to work as an extra on the TV series Friday Night Light. As much of it shoots here in the Austin area. Just moments after Joe was telling me a story about how he saw someone else get rear-ended just blocks away from where we were, we were turning from Congress onto 4th St downtown and had to stop because of pedestrians and a biker (going the WRONG way mind you!
