Where the land and the river meet. Elizabeth Dawn Hartley (Squirrell). Elizabeth was born in Rochester NY. Her parents moved from Ipswitch England to Rochester in 1962. Liz is the only natural citizen in her maiden nuclear family. Liz attended Irondequoit schools and graduated from Irondequoit High School. She was working at the Rochester Salvation Army's camp Troutburg when she met her husband, Brent. Elizabeth and her family spend the summer holidays at Sparkhaven along with their son, Christopher.

Where the land and the river meet. After high school, Brent met Elizabeth at the Rochester Salvation Army summer camp, Troutburg. Brent was working as a Water Safety Instructor and managed the camp's pool and two lifeguards. Brent attended Monroe Community College and graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Computer Technology. Brent and Elizabeth were married in 1986. Brent and his family spend the summer holidays at Sparkhaven along with their son, Christopher.

Where the land and the river meet. Christopher was born on February 6, 1992. He attended the Rochester City Schools 28 and 46. After the family moved to Pittsford, Chris has graduated from Pittsford Sutherland High School. Chris played a few seasons of baseball with a league in the city. He then switched to soccer in the Brighton Soccer League. He has also played soccer for Sutherland. Chris has now learned to ski and is getting better all the time. Our High School Student.

Where the land and the river meet. Mike graduated from Niskayuna High School and has a Master’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. After Mike's graduation, he moved to California where he has worked for the Boeing Corporation as an Engineer. He met and married Lisa in California. Lisa's family now comes to the cottage for a weekend each summer. The Engineer - Next Generation.
