So that meant I got to treat myself to a new little black dress. I knew I had two occasions coming up where I could where my new dress, a friends wedding and my sisters 21st birthday. Ten day cleanse recap. Thursday, April 11, 2013. For fat, carbs, and sugar the goal was to decrease intake. For fiber and protein the goal was to increase intake. I'm not going to lie here, the fiber drink is not delicious on it's own. Once we started adding low-sugar orange juice to it, however, it tasted just like orange juice with lots of pulp. Much more doable! Meal plan each week - including snacks! Try to eat every 2-3 hours and get at least 10 g of protein each time. Drink TONS of water. Keep nuts...

I have learned that when I keep a routine of ever-changing workouts I tend to lose more weight. I also stay more motivated to continue running if I have a race I know I've already paid for that's coming up so this will help me stay committed to those things. After the 1/2 marathon. Sunday - p90x or tread n shed (treadmill class at the gym). Monday - small group personal training. Tuesday - tread n shed. Wednesday - rest day. Friday - rest day. Saturday - p90x or run/hike. Run a 5k sub 30:00.

Hoppity hops 5k race report. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Hands down, most fun race I have ever done. Out of 2013, today was the hottest day of the year so far besides the fact it was the last day of Spring Break so lots of families were out. We spent the race running in and out of people who were out enjoying the sun on the waterfront. It was so beautiful! Day of the race I had my baby sister by my side as my pacer bunny. I was determined to push myself and do my very best! Starve the toxins, not yourself.
