The Panda Chef: September 2010
http://thepandachef.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
I don't only eat bamboos. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant. Tried Din Tai Fung? Tried Nanxiang Steamed Bun? Nope Finally, i get a chance to try this Shanghai restaurant which is supposed to be popular for their xiao long baos and hand-pulled noodles. However, no xiao long bao this time, as we all weren't that hungry, so we tried their staple dishes instead. Shanghai wanton noodle soup - Generally not bad, but i still prefer the HK wantons with big prawns inside. Nanxiang Stea...

The Panda Chef: 2 Fat Men
http://thepandachef.blogspot.com/2011/09/2-fat-men.html
I don't only eat bamboos. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Big Apple mocktail (apple juice lemon juice mint) ($4). Yum Ma Ma salad (or somthing like that) ($5). Basil chicken fried rice (approx $6.90). One of the recommended dishes from food bloggers, i was a little disappointed as i felt that it tastes like a normal fried rice which you get at cze char stalls and does not have as much. As i expected and slightly oily. But generally, a better alternative than plain rice, which i don't think they have.

The Panda Chef: May 2011
http://thepandachef.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
I don't only eat bamboos. Sunday, May 29, 2011. Tandoor North Indian Restaurant. Not exactly a die0hard fan of Indian cuisine, I would have never known about the existence of this restaurant if not for the popular deal.com website, in which i saw a $50 voucher for Tandoor going at 50% discount. After reading a few reviews online commenting that this place is not too bad, i bought the voucher and went ahead to give this place a shot. A posh Indian restaurant. Thali rice items at a glance, consisting of:.

The world is my oyster. Macaron Wall Of Fame. Rabbit Owl Depot →. May 3, 2015. We celebrated dad’s birthday at sushi mitsuya. It was also my first time at a fancy schmancy sushi restaurant. Different kinds and grades of uni. Dessert was a very interesting savoury Sakura sorbet, dense red bean mochi and sweet honeydew. A simple end to a very delicious meal. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. http://emmaelephant.blogspot.com/2012/03/ethan-eats-steak-at-lawrys-pictorial.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. Ethan eats steak at Lawry's (Pictorial). So mummee says, since I am well-behaved, I now get to go out to nice restaurants with mummee and daddeedee. Hmm, i must look as sweet and innocent as possible so i can go out more often! I love prime rib steak! No rubbishy minced beef for me, only babies eat that. More, daddeedee, more! No, it's not my birthday but I don't know why the cake is right in front of me. It's daddeedee's birthday! Details on the food experience at Lawry's here.

Dancing elephant: Novus (guest post by W)
http://emmaelephant.blogspot.com/2011/10/novus-guest-post-by-w.html
Saturday, October 15, 2011. Novus (guest post by W). Note: I ambitiously booked three restaurants for Restaurant Week, and this is the story of the second restaurant. Guest-written by my lovely friend W. Turned out to be quite a modern looking restaurant (a little strange, considering it's situated in the National Museum! Z and I both enjoyed our meal, and more importantly, felt that the restaurant had gone to great lengths to make the dining experience a lovely one. For each of the courses, the rest...

Dancing elephant: Taiwan A-Sha Noodles
http://emmaelephant.blogspot.com/2012/04/taiwan-sha-noodles.html
Thursday, April 5, 2012. These instant noodles are all the rage in Taiwan.they are apparently so popular that you can only buy them online, and it takes one month to arrive because of the long waiting list (they limit production to maintain quality). Being curious, I made an order for a few packets to see what all the fuss was about. Including shipping costs, the final damage came up to about SGD2 per pack. Spicy, szechuan peppercorn. Is sticky about bringing food products into Singapore! Opus Bar and Gr...

Dancing elephant: Cassis, Rochester Park
http://emmaelephant.blogspot.com/2008/06/cassis-rochester-park.html
Sunday, June 22, 2008. Cassis, Rochester Park. I chanced across this restaurant quite by accident, when I was trying desperately to find a suitable place to hold a work event. Cassis, in the almost-hip-and-happening Rochester Park, had just opened its doors for three months and was helmed by a very young chef Eric Cuilbert who had earned one Michelin star in his former establishment. Add to that the very friendly and professional service in making arrangments for the event (private room? Travel - Siem Re...

June 2010 | The Baker in Me ~ Bake, Baking, Baked.
http://danieruben.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Baker goes BKK: Fuji Japanese Restaurant. 160;Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Anyone who has been to Bangkok will probably know of this place. One of the Japanese sushi chains where you can get quality food at Bangkok prices. We had a Maguro Tataki. Raw slices of tuna dressed in a Thai dressing which was rather spicy. We ordered a bento set, which came with grilled prawns and some asparagus as well. Fried chicken which was part of the bento set. This was quite aromatic and crispy. Posted by ダニエル・タン. Green ...
