A Life with a View. Glimpses- sideways, backwards, from the inside, out. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Pulled by the Red Thread. Acrylic on canvas, 30" x 40". Private collection, Dallas. An invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break." -. I believe this proverb is accurate, at least partially so. I'm not sure the thread is red. After all, it is. Would you meet the periodontist of your dreams? To the city...

Dropped out of blogging again and I appreciate your inquiries regarding the state of things here. As you can see, we remain sound in body and mind. Friday will be Oakley's 21st birthday. He has matured into an upstanding young man. With the hair to prove it. Aside from David's thyroid condition, we'd give life two thumbs up. WAY up. Thank you, Daryl!

Whoever doesn't recognize this painting, raise your hand. (I see one hand, but it's attached to the arm of the class clown, so I disregard that hand.). Whoever has never related to the feeling in this painting, raise your hand. (I see no hands.). A Life with a View: December 2009

A Life with a View. Glimpses- sideways, backwards, from the inside, out. Friday, December 11, 2009. When my sister Rhonda was 5, she got her head stuck between two wrought iron rails on our front porch. I don't remember what prompted her to put her head between those rails. Maybe she was playing "Jail." All the kids on Emmet Street loved to stand on our front porch, grab a couple of the rails, and chant, "Look, I'm in jay-yul! Look, I'm in jay-yul! Therefore I am in jail. I think with my head. We've got ...

Blueberry Pancake Soap – SoapiNessence

It's all about the soap! And stuff. There is always more soapy stuff! April 21, 2016. April 21, 2016. I got some lovely peacock mica in the sample pigment package I got, and I thought it would go nicely with the Blueberry Pancake Fragrance Oil I have. I added in some French White clay to make the soap more luxurious. As you can see, the color lightened up considerably and has a slight blue-green tint to it, as a result of the natural ivory color. 2 thoughts on “ Blueberry Pancake Soap. Thank you, Spark!

It's all about the soap! And stuff. There is always more soapy stuff! July 18, 2016. I am having way too much fun playing with melt and pour soap! I had some mica pigments I got as samples, so I thought I’d get some clear MP soap to use them in. These will be little decorations for the tops of my CP soaps. They look like little shimmery gummy candies. My daughter thought they looked delicious, lol. Soap a l‘Orange. This Soaper’s Life. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Ginny in Boston: October 2014
http://ginnyinboston.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

I will be dressing up as the concerned 30 year old who does not want drunk college students destroying her car. Should be a fun costume. Life in my 30s. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. I tried brushing my teeth. Does that mean it's working? I guess I should have read the directions because I turned the toothbrush on before I put it in my mouth and guess what happens when you do that. This is a lot o...
