The Schneider Web: They Came Home
http://theschneiderweb.blogspot.com/2011/07/they-came-home.html
Sunday, July 31, 2011. Trust me. That pillow did not return from Boy Scout camp that color. Neither did the Boy Scout shirts. Neither did the boys. They came home a dingy shade of brown. Can't believe Boy Scout khaki can get any dingier? It can. Trust me. They came home responsible. I found myself reminding them of things they already did. Did you get the stuff out of the car? I already did mom. Have you unpacked your packs yet? I already did mom. Did you call your dad? They came home affectionate. Evan ...

The Schneider Web: December 2010
http://theschneiderweb.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 20, 2010. It was supposed to rain. It did. The weatherman was right this time. But my friend just said, “Bring an umbrella.”. Years ago I remember having caroling parties. It was tradition for us back then, too. It was my heart to bless my neighbors with truth and love and music and it was so much fun to be with my friends. I hoped for some of that tonight and I got it in spades. Spades, I tell you! I say Let it Rain. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Merry Peopling to You. Yes, bring Joy.

Friday, January 29, 2010. Perplexed, she looked at me and uttered, “Since when do you worry about what other people think? I’ve had that part of the conversation running in my head for almost 2 years. I don’t know. Since that conversation with a most trusted friend, I’ve been getting back to all I know to be true. It’s hard to see the grand scheme from the valley, the lay of the land is deceiving. How far is that mountain peak? How big is it really? Is that snow or granite? Is that the highest point?

My mom and our friends mom (the same friends from my post: how to clean your child) left to go to a conference in New Mexico. Leaving us for an even longer period of time with all of our little siblings. Before I continue, let me point out that the best stories from my blog always come when my family is gone.). Friday, August 26, 2011. 5 Things About Me. Inspired by my inspiring friend, Robin over at Knitting Peace. I’m hitching a ride on her always authentic blog post 5 Things About Me. But let me start with the fact that my 5 Things are the SAME as HER 5 things and maybe that’s why I like Robin! I talk too much. I may be menopausal. A few months ago, I logged my longest period ever. 2 weeks. Give or take. TMI. So sorry, but that and the night sweats are impairing my judgment. I cook because I have to. I was w...

The Jocelberry Patch: June 2009
http://thejocelberrypatch.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 22, 2009. In my own back yard! A few days ago, I saw some splashes of color in my back yard. Since I live in the trees, most of the colors I see are brown and dark green. But I saw other colors, so I took out my camera and took pictures of all these beautiful flowers. Sunday, June 14, 2009. Hey everyone who reads my blog, I just wanted to show you a random poem that I wrote for a writing class this past school year. The world is full of emptiness. Empty hearts full of hate. What do they mean...

The Jocelberry Patch: How to clean your child
http://thejocelberrypatch.blogspot.com/2010/03/how-to-clean-your-child.html
Monday, March 22, 2010. How to clean your child. Before I tell you the meaning of the title, let me first explain what happened before hand. I asked the kids what they were doing. My little brother's answer didn't comfort me. "We can't use the water so we're melting snow to make more water. " They needed the water to make either a little waterfall in the backyard or to make the biggest mud hole I'd ever seen in my yard. (I can't remember which). Another would stuff them in the shower and wash them up.

Monday, October 12, 2009. Fun, Fashionable Alyssa.Nerdy, Noble Catey. There once was a Queen. The queen of the malls). She wore fashion clothes like you've never seen. But didn't care much for the balls. My sister Catey gives me advice. I promoted her to the position. Even though she is challenged in size. She never demands a commission. I say this to them so they're not left behind. I'm showing my appreciation. For only they seem to know my mind. Or the "leave a comment" location. The girl has manners!
